I really haven’t posted anything about my summer internship at LB Manila. OK pinlano ko yun so ibubuhos ko lahat sa post na to :)

I remember cramming for OJT requirements, interviews, taking exams, and especially those long walks in Makati kung san todo walk-in at pasa ng requirements sa mga ahensya. And those times na napapraning akong sumagot ng email at napapaenglish ako.

I was really nervous nung first day ko..but after spending more than a month in that awesome office..parang ayaw ko na magpasukan.

Hmm..first impression? Well..no office does it better than Leo Burnett HAHAHA!

Cool yung sofas and bar chairs dito. Winner magisip sa japanese table,feeling mo japan na japan.Meron din parang Cobonpue “egg” chairs pagpasok mo ng lobby.Feeling mo panda ka na naghahibernate. In short..hindi boring office ng LB HAHA!

This is me and my co-interns from UST.Go USTE! We don’t really know each other kahit magkakacollege kami..pero mga two weeks before kami pumasok ng LB, we took the extra effort to know each other and it’s really fun. 

Cara- the ultimate chinese/lookbook/flight attendant/ninang

Krisha- the BDO girl HAHAHA! (btw she’s from St. Scho :D)

Jam- the madam in disguise (asawa daw sya ni J.Park)

btw..these guys are the barkada I knew when I was an intern here..at dahil jan INTERNS ASSEMBLE!

Once you get out of the elevator,quote agad ni Leo Burnett bubungad sayo. Simula palang ng araw mo inspired ka na. CHOS HAHA!

And Leo Burnett is there to personally high-five you before you come inside the reception area. Seryoso umaapir talaga ko jan pag dumadating ako HAHAHA!

My stay would never be complete thanks to these awesome guys I met. Super thankful ako to be placed under a team na hindi ako nileft out sa mga briefing,brainstorming,shoot,pati libreng food. They were super accommodating and even though I was only an intern, they’d still listen to my ideas (kahit sabaw HAHA!)

(Ate Aimee!The copywriter na super bait!Lagi ko syang naabutang puyat/hagard pero never ko syang nakitang irita kahit super pagod *huuuugs*)

(Ate Ella!Super bait din nitong AD na to aaand fashion ang outfits ng lola mo. I still wait for the day na sya na ang talent sa TVC HAHA!)

(Sir Dante!ok niyakap nalang e HAHA!Sobrang galing nito..di lang sya CD,gumagawa din sya ng cool na rings and rides awesome big bikes..at meron syang super cute na chikiting!)

(Tito Jorge!The mabaet and makulit na CD!Though di sya ang assigned supervisor saken..he is always giving me the chance na makasali and makibrainstorm.Andame ko din natutunang kwento dito HAHA!)

(Ate Spiro with Kuya Ry sa background HAHAHA!Ate Spi babalitaan kita pag nagkaboyfriend na ko :DD and kuya Ry thank you talaga sa Game of Thrones HAHA!)

And no..a day in LB isn’t only full of fun. There were times I get really frustrated pag wala ko maisip na ideas. Nakakapressure minsan. Minsan gusto mo nalang sabihin na “SIRIT NALANG PLEASE”. But whenever that happens and you tend to give up on thinking..just look up to the ceiling and you’ll see this:

Pipilitin ka paring magisip ni Leo Burnett. When you go around the office,super daming quotes ni LB para sayo. Sa windows,sa lalagyan ng paper,sa walls,sa tables..pati sa CR meron.

Hmm..pero dahil super haba na ng post ko, I just want to say that this summer has been the most productive EVER in my life. I didn’t go to the beach or anything, but this will be one of those summers I will always look back. It has been very special and I am thankful that Leo Burnett gave me the opportunity to have my internship here. I learned so much in a very short time,and I wish I could stay more kung wala lang talagang pasok. I will always put your tips in my heart..pati quotes ni LB memorized ko na din HAHA! I will always thank you awesome people of Leo Burnett for accommodating and making me feel like a Burnetter. I will study hard for one more year and be a better creative person. Hoping that when I come back,my ideas would deserve a 7+ rating (SANAAAAAA) :D
